BearPit is a passionate community dedicated to creating an electrifying and hostile game-day environment that benefits our teams and fuels school spirit. Our organization is made up of some of the loudest and rowdiest students on campus who love Baylor sports and want to build community with fellow Baylor sports fans.
More than just a Student Section.
All students who cheer on the Baylor Bears athletic teams are considered members of the Bear Pit, the official student section for Baylor Athletics! Working in unison with the Spirit Squads and Pep Band, the Bear Pit creates a decisive home-court advantage for our teams while offering an atmosphere of excitement for players and fans to enjoy.
Gameday
Students wear anything Baylor green and gold to the games, but it is best to wear the official BearPit student section t-shirt when you’re cheering for the Bears. Athletic facility doors typically open 60 minutes before game time and students swipe their Baylor ID card at the Student Entrance to get front row seats to the action. Members of the Bear Pit stand throughout the game to lead chants, cheers, and influence the atmosphere, and may get high-fives and fist bumps from the players following the game.

You are the Bear Pit. Show up for each home game and cheer on our teams to victory! The BearPit is the official student section of Baylor Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and every* sport we play. (*except Football, which gets its own tradition, The Baylor Line.)
