With the convenience and excitement of having an on-campus stadium comes necessary preparation to make gameday a success for fans. That preparation includes parking lot closures and vehicle relocations starting on the Friday prior to every home game as well as accommodations for student parking and transportation elsewhere on campus.
Student Parking Lot Closures
For the August 29, 2025, home-opener against Auburn, the following parking lots will be affected.
- Dutton Parking Garage (Lot 45) closes at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28
- Speight Parking Garage (Lot 37) closes at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 29
- Law School (Lot 59) closes at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 29
For the rest of the 2025 football season, lots will close at the following times.
- Dutton Garage (Lot 45) - Friday at 6:00 p.m.
- Speight Garage (Lot 37) - Saturday at 2:00 a.m.
- Law School (Lot 59) - Saturday at 2:00 a.m.
Other Parking Lot Closures
Highers-Simpson, Mayborn Museum, Ferrell Center
Accommodations
Students who have parking permits for the Dutton Garage (Lot 45) OR Speight Garage (Lot 37) may start parking in Faculty/Staff areas on campus starting at 2 p.m. on Friday. (Note: For the August 29, 2025, game, these accommodations will start at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2025.)
Violation of Parking and Relocation Guidelines
It is an essential component of the gameday experience that students with vehicles in the Dutton Garage or Speight Garage relocate by the determined time. Any car remaining in a closed lot after the closure time is subject to citation and towing. If your vehicle has to be relocated by a hired service, you will be required to pick up your vehicle and your student account will be subject to a fine through Parking and Transportation Services.
